Seven Year Itch

What is the 7 year itch?
In short it is a relationship term - usually after 7 years people tend to re-evaluate their relationship. There might be evidence that it is now much shorter but the original number 7 came from a time period where the average marriage only lasted 7 years.

I am happy to say that Keline and I have just completed 7 years of marriage!  We celebrated by kayaking down the Ventura Harbor on Saturday, during the Tall Ship festival.

Our marriage has been a journey from the beginning.  We have stuck through the good times, the bad times, the 2 kids, the happy, the sad, the rich, and the poor times.  Some days it was easy, and other days; well Keline says it best: "It was no walk in the park!"

The honest answer is, my wife is an amazing person, a faithful and stalwart companion, and a terrific mother.  I am so blessed to have been able to spend the last 7 years married to her, and looking forward to the next however many years we live.
I love you sweetheart,
   Matt

Craziness in May

Kenna's bites.  She got bit 4 times.  The other two are on her hands.

Jakes spider bite on the back of his arm.  Mother in law says not to worry unless he starts throwing up.  Well he started throwing up so we went to the dr. and she sent us to ER.
Jacob in the ER.  They tried to put in an IV for dehydration.  They were unsuccessful on the first attempt.  That's when I call it quits.  We went home and now get to write them a nice check.

Playing in buckets.

 Is there a grandma pillow?
I will explain just in case any one out there looks at this blog.  We have a pillow that states"mirror, mirror on the wall i am my mother after all" I bought this pillow for my sister who then decided to give it to another sister a year later for being like my mother.  who then gave it to another sister and so on.  This is a classic face my mom makes.  So Jacob needs a pillow that says he is like his grandma.

End of the year preschool party.
On the way home, Jacob wanted to know when summer was over so he could go back to school.

Jacob getting his kindness award. Not sure what side of the family he gets that trait from

We started the Easter Celebration with an egg hunt with Jacob's preschool class.
He found the egg with his name on it.
