Family Pictures

We got our Family pictures taken. It was tough with two kids. We spent most of our time trying to get Makenna to look up so then Jacob was distracted looking at her. I know it's tough for a two year old to just stare at a camera for a half hour. So this is what we ended up with. (I'm not taller than Matt. For whatever reason photographers always sit me higher then him.)

Jacob gets his own Theater Room

Jacob has begun to enjoy movies, and has a few favorites. He watches them over and over, sometimes 4 or 5 times a day. Mom and Dad don't get to enjoy any TV, even 5 minutes of the news. I got fed up and set Jacob up with his own theater room; complete with surround sound including a sweet bass woofer, an HD projector and a Sony DVD player. I taught him how to power everything up and play his movies. Now, other than controlling the volume (like his dad he likes it to loud) he is self sufficient.
I wish I was as fortunate when I was 2 years old. Jacob sleeps on a Posterpedic pillow-top queen size mattress, and has a 74 inch screen in his room to watch his own movies.
