So, anyone who knows my wife Keline knows that she is the
awesomest. I know it; and I would be lost without her. We are going
on 8 years of marriage next month, and I can say that I am looking
toward the next 60 years with her.
There have been
times in our marriage that we wanted to kill each other, or at least go
on separate vacations. Through and through, we remind each
other that it is worth it to work through our differences and get along.
I would rather admit that she is right, regardless of how illogical and
woman emotionally tainted her thought processes
sometimes are. I like sleeping in the same bed as my wife, and even
in the same room, let alone the same house. I learned around year 5 that:
Proverbs 1:8-9:18 - Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
So, she wins.
She has mellowed me
out, and allowed me to lively her up a little. One day she will even go
skydiving with me, just you wait.
Our two kids are the love our life.
They bring happiness to our family and an eternal perspective of
this temporal existence. Both of them have such individual personalities;
I can’t wait to see what the next one brings!
I have been on a
crazy schedule for work this month, including jet setting red eyes coast to
coast at a moment’s notice. Keline doesn’t
complain at all, but picks up all of my responsibilities as a Dad and piles
them onto her busy schedule as a Mom. I
think she runs on super-awesome-amazingness.
Some super awesomeness that happens in the
Kempton home:
I love you
sweetheart. I appreciate you. And I know
which one of us married up, and which one of us settled…. J
