1st day of Kindergarten

The first day of school was a day that we were regretting.  We had a great summer and we were not ready for it to be over.  He wanted to know why mommies can't go to school with their kids.  He wanted me to sign my name in the office (volunteer).

I was so relieved to see this smile when I picked him up from school.

I love you Jacob and hope you have a great school year!  I also hope our first day of school next year is less emotional for you.  I will still probably be silently emotional.

Happy 8 years!

Matt and I celebrated 8 years of marriage.  8 years ago we were in puerta vallarta.  Today we are in Simi Valley spending time with our 2 crazy kids.  We celebrated by going to breakfast and Sky High as a family.

I have a ton more pictures of all their crazy faces.

Sorry there are blurry pics.  I couldn't get them to stop jumping long enough for a pic.

The next day I took the kids to visit their friends who were camping at Rincon.

We are enjoying every minute of summer already!

FYI.
Little known fact; it costs $2.25 to use the bathroom in Venice, Italy!  If you don't have the cash, you can just do your business in the Grand Canal.... It ends up there anyway.

Also, Venice looks like a fish, with the different barrios, and surrounding islands.  The Canal grande snakes down the middle.
