dress-up time!

 

 

This year for Halloween we dressed up as Thunderbirds and Pink Ladies.  Kenna was Frenchie and I was Rizzo.  Jacob asked if he can wear a costume next year.  I told him he was wearing a costume.  He replied, it's just clothes with a jacket.  O.k. I likes our costumes but maybe it's not so fun for a 5 year old.

Pumpkin Patch 2011

first soccer game/first birthday

We started the day off with Jacob's first soccer game.  He was a natural.  A natural ball hog!! Most of my pictures of him are a blur because he never stopped running.  He made the first goal and also the most goals of the game. He also stopped the other team from scoring many times. As soon as our game ended, lightning started and the rest of the games were cancelled.

After Jacob's game we went to our friend Jackson's first birthday party.  This is a growth chart I made for him.  I believe this was the 5th chart I've made this year.

  

 

 

 

First day of school

Jacobs first year of public school.  He is going to Berylwood for 

Jr. Kindergarten.  It is everyday from 

8-12:45.  I was thinking about him all day and wondering what he was doing and if he was emotionally ok.  His 2 friends (one from church and one from preschool) are in the other class so he doesn't know anyone in his class.  12:45 couldn't come fast enough for me.  I was so excited to pick him up.  Now I get do do it all over again tomorrow.  I hope it gets easier.

This is at the end of the day when I picked him up.  He was all smiles.  I think he had a good day.
