So the wife took over posting on this blog that I started, and I felt liberated from the responsibility, after all it is a wife's responsibility to dress the family in cute clothes, take pictures, and post them for all to see... right??!!!  O.K., I guess I will help out.

1/20/2008.  Keline almost died from an ectopic pregnancy.  This day scared the hell out of me, I thought I lost her for ever...  and I didn't know how to do laundry. :(

New Job

School in Simi Valley starts tomorrow Wed the 25th of August.  Last week I signed up to sub for a teacher at Valley View Middle School for the first 2 weeks of school as she finishes up her maternity leave.  So they had me go to the staff meetings held yesterday and today.  Well today I got a phone call about 8:00 am to see if I wanted a full time part time job.  That means be permantly hired this year to teach P.E. the first 2 periods of the day.  So cool.  That means I'm done at 10:30 am. I get to work and be a stay at home mom. 

An update for Matt...

Matt keeps telling me I need to update the blog.  I haven't really had much to put on here until now.  Still not sure why this is my job.

2 week vacation in July!!

We started off our vacation going to Sea World.

After Sea World we went to Nana and Pappy's in AZ for the 4th of July, where we spent a lot of time in the pool.

After we left AZ , we were on our way to UT where we stopped on the way and camped in the Grand Canyon.  

We stopped in Kanab.  The little town that Matt's great and maybe one more great grandfather founded.  The statue behind Matt's head is Levi Stewart.

Next we made another detour to Cedar Breaks and Brian Head where we found snow.  Snow in July, Crazy!

We made it to Uncle S and Aunt S house.  We went swimming in Payson.

June...

Before June is over I should let whom ever by chance looks at this know what has been going on.
Matt and I came home from Puerto Rico.  O.k I came home awhile ago and went back to spend Matt's last week with him in P.R. then we all came back together.  Now do we go back to live or enjoy CA for awhile longer?
My sister K. and I decided that we want to know what it's like to be skinny.  We have started running.  But it's very hard to stay motivated so we decided that we would train for a half marathon.  I believe that she wants to do a marathon but i think 13 miles is probably where I will draw my line.  We have officially finished our first week of training.  9 more to go.
My other sister J. has come to CA with her kids to visit.  We love having visitors.  Hope they love visiting.
Matt and I just celebrated our 6th anniversary.  We went away just the 2 of us (haven't done that in 4 years).  We went to the Queen Mary hotel in Long Beach.  It was really weird, just the 2 of us.  we decided that we really do like hanging out with each other, and not just the thought of hanging out.  Thank you Matt.  I had a great time.
