Germany Day 2 (really 1)

This is a plaque to honor Einstein. It is in front of a communications store...??!!

Guten Tag! It started to rain while I was in the bell tower of the world’s tallest church steeple (534 feet). Google it: Ulmer Munster in Ulm, Germany. It took 600+ steps to get to the top, all within a “tube staircase” just big enough for a fit person. The wind started to blow so hard that when it whipped up the spiral stair case; I couldn’t breathe. I am not kidding; I felt like I was under water. The air was about 30 degrees and wet; and the gusts were close to 60 miles an hour channeled up like a wind tunnel.

When I came down to the landing (still at 392 feet) I saw this rainbow. Cool...

Keline, You could live here now.. There is an H&M!! ANd Katie could visit without withdrawls.

Matt off to Germany, Keline and the Kids in Texas

I have been traveling for the last 22 hours. From our home in Simi Valley, CA to LAX to Paris, France; on to Munich, Germany; and then a good drive into Neu-Ulm. IT is about 40 deg F. and clear. I have no idea what anything looks like; because it has been dark since taking off in France. The Autobahn drive was nice; while doing ~ 70 miles per hour for 2 hours, getting lapped by expensive German sports cars doing well over 120 miles an hour. I wanted to.... but then I thought better. Being responsible really sucks sometimes :( Here are a few pics.

This is right next door. No idea what it is, but it looks old, and really neat.
I had to stop and take this picture....on the Autobauhn :) Close spelling. It is a name of a town.
Flight into Paris @ 35,000 ft. Do you see the moon on top?

11 months ago Miss Kenna looked liked this. She weighed in at 7 lbs 7 oz. 19 1/2 in. long.

Today she looks like this. She weighs 17 lbs and is 28 3/4 in. long. It's a lot harder to get her pics these days, she is too mobile and won't sit still long enough for mommy to get the camera.

Better late than never

We got a new computer and camera so I have been slowly learning how to use them. So these pics are a tad late, but better late than never.

We started out the halloween week with going to our friends' ward activity, my sisters' ward activity and then our ward activity. Food, games and CANDY. On halloween we went to the mall for some trick-or-treating. After that we went to my neighbors' church: more food, more games and more CANDY. Then we headed over to go trick-or-treating with Jacob and Makenna's cousin M. Lots more CANDY. It may last us till next Halloween.
